4. Data Ownership & Portability
Your Data Belongs to You
Organizations using PantryBridge retain full ownership of all data they enter into the platform, including client records, volunteer information, distribution history, program data, and any other organizational content. PantryBridge acts as a custodian of your data, not an owner.
Self-Service Data Export
Organization administrators can export all of their organization's data at any time using the self-service export tools in the Admin Portal. Exported data is provided in CSV format, which is compatible with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and virtually any other database or spreadsheet application. No request or approval from PantryBridge is required to export your data.
No Lock-In
Your data is stored in standard formats and can be exported for use with any other system. We do not use proprietary formats or impose technical barriers that would prevent you from migrating to another platform.
Service Discontinuation
If PantryBridge ceases operations or discontinues the platform, we will provide a minimum of 90 days' written notice to all active organizations. During this notice period, all data export tools will remain fully operational. We will make reasonable efforts to assist organizations in transitioning to alternative solutions.
Data Deletion
Upon written request following account termination, PantryBridge will permanently delete all organization data within 30 days. Deletion includes removal from active databases and, to the extent technically feasible, from backup systems.
5. Volunteer Terms
If you register as a volunteer, you additionally agree to:
Commitments
